Construction
Building a custom pool is not an easy process. Proper construction plans must be made and followed in order to have a successful result. That's why, we follow the same, tried and true process over and over.
Step 1: Permit
Your pool design is submitted to the county for approval. Prior to the issuance of the permit, we visit your site to verify all measurements are correct and in compliance with all regulations. We then review the final approved layout and begin construction after the permit is issued.
Step 2: Layout
Your pool is staked out to the final plan. The pool will be laid out larger than the plan to allow for the thickness of the concrete.
Step 3: Excavation & Steel Reinforcement
After excavation, steel reinforcement is placed and rough plumbing is installed.
Step 4: Our Gunite Application
Our gunite crew pneumatically places the gunite to create the shape and structure of your pool.
Step 5: Rough Grade & Plumbing
With the unite shell in place, the deck area is graded and compacted to reduce concrete cracking. Next, the remainder of the plumbing is installed. Finally, the pipes are pressure tested to assure there are no leaks.
Step 6: Tile & Coping
After pool plumbing we install the brick coping and waterline tile in preparation for the paver deck.
Step 7: Pool Equipment
The equipment is now installed, utilizing our partner companies with the best warranties in the industry.
Step 8: Pool Finish
Once the final deck coating is complete, the pool shell is cleaned and prepped for the application of the pool finish. Immediately after the pool finish is applied, the pool begins filling from a regular garden hose.
Step 9: Cage
This phase is completed at the very end of construction.
Step 10: Final Grade & Startup
The yard is graded and cleaned. Our trained staff then begins to brush the pool and apply chemical treatment, which takes several days to balance. In our effort to provide our customers with excellent service, we offer a "pool school". If your home is a new construction and after you are moved in, please call us to schedule a time for one of our pool pros to instruct you on the proper operation and maintenance of your new pool. This will insure you many years of trouble-free enjoyment and relaxation.
